1-on-1 meetings, also known as face-to-face or personal meetings, is a very common term in the logistics market. It is used to define the kind of meeting where two professionals, as freight forwarding agents, get together to know about each other’s companies and promote their services.

Usually, 1-on-1s take place at logistics conferences, where one or many days of the event are reserved for attendees to schedule personal meetings with other agents, which will help them get to know each other better and understand more about each other’s business. At Twig Talk, Twig Logistics Network’s annual meeting, we promote the perfect environment for those 1-on-1 meetings!

How it works

The next Twig Talk will take place in Aruba, from April 12^th to April 15^st of 2018, and during 3 days attendees will be able to schedule face-to-face conversations with each other. It works like this: we set up an exclusive room for all attendees at the venue where the conference is taking place at, which this year, will be the resort Paradisus Palma Real. Prior to the event, attendees can log on to their Twig account, see what other members will be participating at the event, and schedule personal meetings with the ones that interest them, creating their own conference agenda.

Each 1-on-1 meeting at Twig Talk will last 30 minutes and will be a great opportunity for attendees to get to know other members of their network, develop a personal contact with them and gather many contacts for future business opportunities. Once the time is up, a bell rings and agents move from one table to another, to meet with the next agenda. At the end of the event, you will be able to talk with around 40 different forwarding agents, from all over the world!

Therefore, those personal meetings are the perfect opportunity for you to develop a personal contact with other freight forwarders, expand your business’ visibility and promote your services to people from all over the world!
