As we board into 2018, it is time to think about the accomplishments Twig Logistics Network had in the past year and set new goals and objectives for this current year. Overall, we have achieved some amazing results as a group in 2017, and we couldn’t be any happier about it.

Of course, without the involvement of each one of our members and partners this wouldn’t be possible, so here is a big thank you to the whole Twig community!

Check out some of the numbers Twig has reached in 2017: 

• 60 new members
• 20 new countries
• 98% renewal rate
• 2 new products launched (Twig Visit & Mutual Support Association)
• 8 new badges created
• 457,110 Twig Coins acquired by members

When it comes to Twig Talk, our annual conference, the outcome of the 2017 edition was also a total success! The satisfaction level was 99% and we had an attendance increase of 35% when compared to 2016! Click here for a complete overview of the conference.

Not to mention that in 2017 Twig Logistics Network also participated in an exclusive booth at Intermodal South America – one of the biggest fairs in the world for logistics companies. Learn more about this here!

What Twig Logistics Network expects in 2018? 

Although we had all these incredible results in the past year, our expectations are even higher for 2018! For starters, we are expecting to launch two new products this year:

Twig App

An app entirely designed to facilitate communication and interaction between members. By downloading it, Twiggers will be able to access most of our logistics network’s tools in a simple and handy way, using their mobile devices.

Twig Partner Rating

A system developed for Twig members to evaluate their experience working with other members. This will help Twiggers identify the quality of an agent before working with them and keep a constant quality control in the group.

The products are expected to be released at our next annual conference, Twig Talk 2018, which will happen in Aruba from April 12-15th.  Moreover, the meeting promises to be our greatest one yet, generating many business opportunities for all attendees that come along with us!

Continuing with Twig Visit, our directors plan on visiting agents in USA, Colombia, Chile and Brazil in 2018. We also expect to expand our community with 100 new members this year, acquiring agents from countries where we are not yet represented and strengthening our presence in the areas we already have members.

To sum up, our main goal in 2018 is to keep Twig as the most powerful and selected platform for independent freight forwarders worldwide. We aim to keep our renewal rate as high as possible, creating a close and long-term relationship with each member and organizing the best logistics events for them to meet each other and make business.
