For this edition of Twig Logistics Network news, we are pleased to share some updates from our member FAST – Freight Air & Sea Transport. Recently, the company has acquired a state-of-the-art facility and welcomed aboard two new professionals as part of their team. 

The company was established in the year 2003 and has been an active Twig member ever since 2016. Besides participating twice as Sponsors at Twig Talk, FAST was also awarded as one of the companies that hold the most Twig Coins at the last conference.

FAST offers all aspects of freight forwarding with many years of professional experience. Through strong partnerships and contracts, they are able to attend challenging logistics demands anywhere in the USA. Where others see problems, FAST sees challenges and finds solutions.

FAST’s new facility

The new FAST facility provides partners and customers with 42,000 sq. ft of bonded warehouse space and 8,000 sq. ft of office space with a fenced in yard, 2 ramps, 10 bay doors, and 2 levelers.

On top of that, the facility is pet-friendly and has fish tanks, picnic tables and a bird feeder, which help to relieve the stress at work and contributes to a more pleasant working environment.

New additions to the FAST team

FAST is also pleased to announce they have new additions to the FAST family. Christy Fondren is not new to the freight industry but she is new to FAST. She has a total of 26 years experience. She started off in domestic rail for 6 years before she moved to the SSL for about 2 years before she proceeded to a co-leader for 11 years before moving on with a freight forwarder.

We have Brittany Leverette who is new to the freight forwarding industry. She has gone to school for business administration as well as graphic design and photography.
