Twig member in UAE, Fleet Line Shipping completes Heat Exchanger shipments.

The task was to provide an end-to-end logistics solution of several heat exchangers starting from shrink wrapping, loading, lashing, pre-carriage, customs clearance and the ocean freight. FLS in-house Project Engineers worked out a cost effective solution and successfully executed the shipments on time.

Recently, Fleet Line, which is an expert company in Boat/ Yacht shipping in UAE, transported a boat from from Jebel Ali Port to Male Port, the Maldives by sea. The boat was a Royal Craft 28 feet Sports fishing boat (model 2020) with dimensions of 960x250x370 and weighing 3 ton.
This work included: picking up from the origin, arranging coast guard permission, shrink wrapping, saddle making, loading and securing, and also ocean freight. To know more about this shipment, watch the video below!
Fleet Line successfully completes a pipe haul
December, 2019
Fleet Line completed handling a consignment of 350 steel pipes which measured 12 meter long and 0.95 meter diameter weighing 3.2 tons each. Pipes were transported in 70 trailers from Jebel Ali to Ruwais, Abu Dhabi in 3 days time.

Last week, UAE based Fleet Line Shipping has handled a shipment of 7000 tons wood pulp, loaded from Indonesia and discharged successfully in Abu Dhabi.

FLS on the long Pipe basket move in a container ship
February, 2019
Dubai based Fleet Line Shipping has successfully completed moving a Pipe basket measuring 18.54 x 1.43 x 1.41 meters / 11 tons. The basket was loaded in Abu Dhabi onto FLS own 40’ Flat Bed container, secured and lashed by FLS in-house lashing team before transporting the same on a 60’ trailer to Jebel Ali port. Fleet Line Shipping is now an approved in-house transport/shipping partner of Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers, in Dubai.

FLS – Dubai wins a contract to move oil and gas equipment

For this edition of our Member News, we will update you about the news we have recently heard from Twig UAE member Fleet Line Shipping. FLS-Dubai is proud to announce they won a contract to move about 11,000 freight ton Oil and Gas equipment and Pipes from UAE to Iraq.
The first batch of Pipe Layer machines (each of them weighing 45 tons) were successfully loaded on a Ro-Ro ship from Jebel Ali to Umm Qasr port in Iraq. FLS team was in charge of the entire process, from transportation to customs clearance and delivery of the machines to the project site, which is 450 km away from the port.

FLS performs project cargo operation to move Oil Heater
February, 2018
FLS has recently handled an Oil Heater measuring 15 x 4.20 x 5.1 m/30 tons.
The cargo was picked from Abu Dhabi on an EXW basis brought to Jebel Ali port and loaded on a container ship on direct loading basis. Fleet Line Shipping project operations team well coordinated with the Port, Customs and vessel operator and the job was well executed by placing 4×40’ empty Flat Rack containers on board. Then, the cargo was loaded through the shore crane and the shipment was discharged in Mombassa port in a record 9 days time from pick up date.

Freight Line Shipping has recently executed a shipping project comprising of Oil and Gas equipment.
As part of the operation, Fleet Line’s experienced team picked up the cargo from customers warehouse in Jebel Ali and had it safely delivered at the project site in Kuwait. The cargo was carried by Fleet Line Shipping’s own special equipment of 12×40’ Flat Rack and 5×40’ Open Top Containers. Their crew was also in charge of performing loading and lashing.

FLS moves mobile Rig from UAE to Uzberkistan

Freight Line Shipping was in charge of moving a mobile Rig comprising of 5000 freight ton from customers door in the UAE to the project’s site in Uzbekistan.
The operation was successfully concluded and adds one more outstanding job to Fleet Line’s extensive portfolio. The company has also recently handled boats for a boat show in Dubai (read it here) and has also been certified by world-renowned certification body UKAS – United Kingdom Accreditation Service, (you can check it out here).

FLS improves perishable items shipping
October, 2016
Aiming to preserve the quality of perishable items such as fruits, meat, and medicine during transportation services, Fleet Line has launched a new tool. The company provides customers with a temperature monitoring device, so they can ensure the containers and trucks in charge of delivering their products were in the right temperature conditions.
The device is pre-configured by Fleet Line and just needs to be activated by a simple press on the start button. Upon the product’s arrival at its final destination, the customer can press the stop button and will have access to all the shipping record of their products. This data can be accessed as secure PDFs posted to the internet, emailed or archived to the customers’ analysis.
Fleet Line prides itself on being the only company doing door delivery of perishable items in Iraq!
FLS handles re-export shipments
April, 2016
Fleet Line Shipping has successfully managed to arrange re-export of 1700 CBM project cargo from Iraq to Jebel Ali. Shipment comprising of 10 mobile units like Crane, Cementing Unit, logging truck, well-testing trailers etc, along with some 40 skids of Oil & Gas equipment was successfully transported on door/door basis.
The freight forwarder obtained re-export permits from various authorities and arranged transportation from the project site to Umm Qasr port, completed inspections from Ministry of Oil & customs and the same was loaded on FLS chartered multi-purpose vessel discharged in Jebel Ali and transported for storage inside Jebel Ali Free Zone.2
