Titan Cargo, Twig Logistics Network’s member in Belgium, was recently awarded as Breakbulk player of the month. The recognition was given by the company’s home base Port of Antwerp. The facility is considered the ultimate port for the handling of steel, project cargo, fruit, forest products and cars in Europe.
The Belgian freight forwarder was in charge of loading a shipment that had 1000 tons and 5000 cubic meters. The cargo was split into a total of 802 packages and required 100 truckloads. Besides, the company also had to deal with 2500 pages of customs documents.
Titan loaded this shipment at 22 different supplier locations and transported it in only one shipment out of the Port of Antwerp. Ten days later, the Breakbulk Cargo Bahrein vessel arrived safely in Turkey.
